This 1978 Chevrolet C10 Square Body Pickup has been professionally restored and tastefully upgraded while retaining the iconic styling of Chevrolet’s highly sought-after square-body generation. Featuring the desirable factory short bed configuration, a powerful 454 Big Block V8, automatic transmission, Dakota Digital instrumentation, and modern suspension upgrades, this C10 offers classic truck styling with enhanced performance and drivability.
The body has been professionally refinished in deep Gloss Red and fitted with a subtle cowl induction hood. During the restoration, the chrome bumpers, stainless trim, exterior moldings, badges, and brightwork were restored or replaced. The cargo bed is protected by a soft tonneau cover, while the truck rides on polished 20-inch US Mag billet wheels, giving it an aggressive custom stance.
The interior has been refreshed with a Tan bench seat, matching door panels, dashboard pad, gloss red lower dashboard, Dakota Digital VHX instrumentation, billet steering wheel, and tilt steering column. The truck is also equipped with factory air conditioning and seating for three passengers.
Power is supplied by a Chevrolet 454 cubic-inch Big Block V8 engine paired with a Turbo 400 automatic transmission. Power is delivered through a GM 12-bolt rear differential, providing dependable strength and durability.
The chassis features lowered suspension with front coil springs and rear leaf springs, power steering, and a Hydroboost braking system with a dual master cylinder operating front power disc brakes and rear drum brakes. The truck also retains its factory dual fuel tank system with an in-cab selector switch for extended driving range.
