1972 Chevrolet Corvette Stingray 454 Four-Speed Coupe
This 1972 Chevrolet Corvette Stingray is a professionally restored example of the highly desirable chrome-bumper C3 generation. Equipped with its matching-numbers 454 cubic-inch Big Block V8, factory Muncie four-speed manual transmission, and factory limited-slip differential, this Corvette delivers authentic American muscle car performance while maintaining its factory appearance and specifications.
The body has been professionally refinished in its original Steel Cities Gray exterior color. Exterior restoration includes new chrome bumpers, new emblems, factory vented hood, removable factory T-top roof panels, rear luggage rack, and the signature pop-up headlights and chrome rear bumpers that distinguish the early C3 Corvettes. Completing the factory appearance are 15-inch GM Rally wheels fitted with BFGoodrich Radial T/A white-letter tires.
The interior has been fully refurbished to factory specifications with new black upholstery, replacement carpeting, restored door panels, center console, factory-style bucket seats, factory steering wheel, original-style instrumentation, factory manual shifter, retractable shoulder belts, and a RetroSound audio system that maintains the original dashboard appearance.
Power is provided by the original matching-numbers 454 cubic-inch Chevrolet Big Block V8 engine. The engine retains the correct factory specifications and is paired with the original Muncie four-speed manual transmission, delivering power through the factory limited-slip rear differential.
The suspension remains factory specification, while braking is provided by a dual master cylinder operating four-wheel power disc brakes. A stainless-steel dual exhaust system completes the drivetrain, providing improved durability and the unmistakable sound of Chevrolet’s legendary Big Block V8.
