This 1968 Dodge Charger has been professionally restored and tastefully upgraded into a high-performance restomod while preserving the unmistakable styling of the legendary B-body platform. Finished in an elegant Black-on-Black color combination, this Charger features a rebuilt 440 cubic-inch Mopar Big Block V8, electronic fuel injection, upgraded suspension, Wilwood braking system, modern interior amenities, and premium audio equipment for exceptional performance and drivability.
The body retains its original factory lines and has been professionally refinished in high-gloss Black. Exterior upgrades include restored chrome trim, satin black rear tail panel, R/T-style badging, new round taillights, electrically operated hideaway headlights, LED headlights, and 20-inch Octane alloy wheels with black centers and polished lips.
The interior has been completely refurbished in factory-style Black vinyl and features front bucket seats, rear bench seat, center console, Dakota Digital instrumentation, carbon fiber and billet steering wheel, tilt steering column, power front windows, new carpeting, new headliner, upgraded seat belts, air conditioning, and a premium RetroSound audio system paired with Focal amplifier and speakers.
Power is provided by a fully rebuilt 440 cubic-inch Mopar Big Block V8 equipped with an Edelbrock performance intake manifold, Holley Sniper electronic fuel injection, high-performance electronic ignition system, polished aluminum components, aluminum radiator, electric cooling fan, and stainless-steel dual exhaust with long-tube headers and X-pipe.
The engine is paired with a Chrysler 727 three-speed automatic transmission, delivering power to the factory rear differential. The suspension has been upgraded with performance torsion bars, adjustable upper control arms, QA1 performance shock absorbers, lowered rear leaf springs, and upgraded suspension bushings for improved handling and ride quality.
Braking performance has been significantly enhanced with power-assisted Wilwood four-wheel disc brakes featuring drilled and slotted rotors and a Wilwood dual master cylinder. Power steering provides effortless maneuverability while maintaining excellent road feel.
