This 1957 Chevrolet 3100 Short Wheelbase Pickup has been professionally restored and tastefully upgraded into a modern-driving classic while retaining its timeless vintage styling. Featuring a powerful V8 engine, upgraded suspension, power steering, power disc brakes, air conditioning, and a custom interior, this truck offers exceptional drivability with classic American pickup character.
The body has been fully refinished in a custom Metallic Burgundy paint and features numerous custom exterior enhancements, including a color-matched sun visor, flush-mounted fuel filler, shaved hood emblem, updated front grille, new chrome front and rear bumpers, clear front indicator lights, upgraded taillights, and a smooth tailgate without exposed chains. The cargo bed has been beautifully finished with painted steel, timber bed flooring, and polished stainless bed strips. Completing the custom appearance are 20-inch Coy C5 chrome wheels.
The interior has been completely customized with premium gray leather upholstery, new carpeting, custom door panels, and a restored bench seat. Additional upgrades include a chrome tilt steering column, billet steering wheel, custom gauge cluster, aftermarket air conditioning, and a Bluetooth-compatible Pioneer audio system with integrated phone connectivity.
Power is supplied by a Chevrolet 350 cubic-inch V8 engine equipped with a Holley carburetor and MSD electronic ignition distributor. The engine is paired with a Turbo 350 automatic transmission operated through a Lokar floor shifter. Power is delivered to a heavy-duty Ford 9-inch rear differential through a custom drivetrain, while long-tube Hooker headers and a custom dual exhaust system enhance both performance and sound.
The chassis has been significantly upgraded for modern handling and comfort. The original front suspension has been replaced with a Mustang II-style independent front suspension featuring adjustable coil-over shock absorbers and rack-and-pinion power steering. The rear retains a leaf spring suspension with an upgraded axle arrangement. Braking has been improved with power-assisted front disc brakes, rear drum brakes, and a dual master cylinder.
