1955 Chevrolet Bel Air Restomod Sport Coupe
This 1955 Chevrolet Bel Air Sport Coupe is a professionally built restomod that combines the timeless styling of the iconic Tri-Five Chevrolet with modern performance, reliability, and driving comfort. Restored to a high standard and extensively upgraded, this Bel Air features a modern LS1 drivetrain, enhanced suspension, four-wheel disc brakes, and premium interior appointments while preserving its classic appearance.
The body retains the original factory styling and has been professionally refinished in an elegant two-tone Pearl White over Red paint scheme. All chrome trim and brightwork have been restored or replaced, while additional period-style accessories include lower body moldings and a grille protector. Completing the exterior are 20-inch Coy C5 chrome wheels that give the car an aggressive yet timeless stance.
The interior has been fully reupholstered in premium red leather while maintaining the original factory layout. Front and rear bench seating provides comfortable accommodation for six passengers. The factory dashboard has been upgraded with a Dakota Digital instrument cluster, complemented by a Bluetooth stereo system and modern air conditioning for improved comfort and convenience.
Power comes from a reliable 5.7-liter Chevrolet LS1 fuel-injected V8 engine, offering significantly increased performance and everyday reliability. The engine is paired with a 4L60E electronically controlled automatic transmission, delivering power to a GM 12-bolt rear differential.
The chassis has been extensively upgraded for improved handling and ride quality. The front suspension features tubular control arms with coil-over shocks and rack-and-pinion power steering, while the rear has been converted to a four-link suspension with coil-over shocks. Braking performance has been enhanced with four-wheel power-assisted disc brakes and a dual master cylinder, providing confident stopping power.
