This 1942 Chevrolet 3100 Pickup has been professionally transformed into a one-of-a-kind custom build, combining timeless pre-war styling with modern performance, handling, and comfort. Featuring a Chevrolet crate V8 engine, five-speed manual transmission, independent suspension, four-wheel disc brakes, and a premium custom interior, this truck offers exceptional drivability while maintaining its classic appearance.
The body has been professionally refinished in Metallic Silver and tastefully modified with widened rear fenders, custom side steps, a shaved fuel filler, and a custom hard tonneau cover supported by gas struts. The cargo bed features a polished timber floor, while the truck rides on 17-inch Coy alloy wheels with gray centers and polished lips, giving it a distinctive custom stance.
The interior has been completely handcrafted in premium red leather and includes custom bucket seats, matching door panels, custom carpeting, custom headliner, Dakota Digital instrumentation, billet steering wheel, billet pedals, aftermarket tilt steering column, power windows, and an integrated air conditioning system for modern comfort.
Power is supplied by a Chevrolet 350 cubic-inch crate V8 engine equipped with an Edelbrock performance intake manifold and Holley carburetor. The engine is paired with a five-speed manual transmission operated through a Hurst floor shifter. Performance is further enhanced by a custom dual exhaust system, aftermarket headers, aluminum radiator, and electric cooling fan.
The chassis has been extensively upgraded with a Mustang II-style independent front suspension featuring tubular control arms and rack-and-pinion power steering. The rear suspension has been converted to a four-link system with adjustable coil-over shock absorbers, while braking is handled by power-assisted four-wheel disc brakes. A relocated under-bed fuel cell improves both safety and weight distribution.
