This 1965 Chevrolet C10 Short Wheelbase Pickup is the result of a meticulous ground-up rotisserie restoration, with more than 1,200 hours invested in creating a high-performance, show-quality classic. Professionally restored and tastefully upgraded, this C10 combines iconic 1960s styling with modern drivability and impressive V8 performance.
The truck underwent a complete frame-off restoration, with the body removed from the chassis and carefully refinished to an exceptional standard. The body was professionally repainted in stunning GM Torch Red, while the underside received a durable satin black finish. Numerous exterior enhancements include new chrome bumpers, a new front grille, refinished stainless trim, shaved tailgate chains with hidden internal latches, and a beautifully restored cargo bed fitted with an Oak wood bed kit and polished stainless bed strips. Completing the aggressive stance are 15-inch American Racing wheels.
Inside, the cabin retains its classic appearance while incorporating tasteful modern upgrades. The factory dashboard has been fitted with Autometer Classic gauges, complemented by a tilt steering column and Forever Sharp steering wheel. The seating features black Houndstooth bucket-style seats with a folding center armrest, while the door panels, headliner, and new carpeting complete the premium interior finish. Additional comfort is provided by a Vintage Air air conditioning system, making this classic suitable for comfortable cruising in any season.
Under the hood sits a professionally built 383 cubic-inch Chevrolet V8 engine, producing an impressive 455 horsepower. Built by White Performance of Kingsport, Tennessee, the engine features aluminum cylinder heads, a roller camshaft, roller rocker arms, and a Quick Fuel 750 CFM carburetor. A polished Vintage Air billet serpentine drive system, aluminum performance radiator, electric cooling fan, Hooker headers, and a custom dual exhaust system complete the engine package.
Power is transferred through a Turbo 700R four-speed automatic transmission to a GM 12-bolt Posi-Traction rear differential via a heavy-duty 4-inch driveshaft. The powder-coated chassis has been upgraded with CPP suspension components, including lowered springs, gas shocks, a 1-inch front sway bar, and 2-inch drop spindles. Braking performance has also been significantly enhanced with CPP power-assisted front disc brakes, rear drum brakes, a dual master cylinder, power brake booster, and proportioning valve. The exceptional attention to detail extends throughout the undercarriage, matching the quality of the exterior and interior.
